Qué se lee cuando se viaja..!

Con este dibujo, inicio una serie de personas viajando que leen libros. Me gusta ver a la gente leyendo, saber qué tipo de libros leen. Esta viajera, leía "Al morir Don Quijote" de Andres Trapiello...aunque el sueño acabó por vencerle.

With this drawing, I begin a series of people travelling that read books. I like to see the people reading, to know what type of books they read. This traveler, was reading " When Don Quijote died " of Andres Trapiello ... though the dream finished for conquering her.

Pantano de Yesa ( Desde Leire )

Pantano de Yesa, desde el Monasterio de Leyre

El pantano de Yesa se formó con el represamiento del rio Aragón...Se inauguró en 1960 y provocó el abandono de varios pueblos: Ruesta, Tiermas y Escó con una población afectada de más de 1.500 personas. Cuando el nivel de las aguas lo permite, generalmente desde el mes de septiembre en adelante, las ruinas del antiguo balneario de Tiermas surgen del fondo y nuevamente se puede acceder al manantial de aguas sulfurosas...veré si puedo verlo este otoño y mostraroslo.

It was inaugurated in 1960 and provoked the abandon of several villages: Ruesta, Tiermas and Escó with an affected population of more than 1.500 people. When the level of the waters allows it, generally from September, the ruins of Tiermas's former resort arise from the fund and it's possible to accede to the spring of sulphurous waters ... La semana que viene va a hacer un año que abrí este blog, uno de tantos que tengo abiertos por el mundo de internet y por otra parte, también es el tiempo que llevo dibujando, ya que desde hace más de veinte años no lo hacia..

Apuntes EncuentrosPHE2011



Estos son unos apuntes muy rápidos, que hice mientras proyectaban las fotos en el auditorio del MCU....mientras las diversas ponencias se iban desgranando. Estos Encuentros PHE 2011 reflexionaban sobre la importancia y el significado del rostro en la fotografía.. Dirigido por Estrella de Diego, en esta ocasión, contaban entre otros con Christine de Naeyer, Rafael Doctor, Joan Fontcuberta, Juan Hidalgo, Cristina García Rodero, Soledad Puértolas, Jorge Volpi y Cabello/Carceller.

These are a few very rapid sketches, which I did while they were projecting the photos .... while the diverse presentations were falling. These Meetings PHE 2011 were thinking about the importance and the meaning of the face in the photography.. La Sierra de Leire o Sierra de Errando es una cadena montañosa que se sitúa en Navarra y la primera sierra prepirenaica. Sus cumbres más importantes son: Escalar de 1.302 m y Arangoiti de 1.353 m. En las faldas del Arangoiti se ubica el monasterio de Leyre uno de los más relevantes monasterios románicos navarros que data del siglo IX . La sierra forma un pasillo entre Navarra y Aragón, por él que transcurre la Via Tolosana, nombre latino de uno de las cuatro rutas en Francia del camino de Santiago, la más meridional.

In the skirts of the Arangoiti Leire's monastery locates one of the most relevant Romanesque of Navarra monasteries that dates back to the 9th century.
